Asignet is Adding 2 New Industries. Now Verticalized Across 3.
A note from Claudio Lopez Silva, CEO of Asignet
Asignet is expanding into two new industries: Business Spend Management and Revenue Reconciliation & Intelligence — building on a decade of leadership in Technology Expense Management. The company now operates across three focused verticals, backed by over $12 billion in spend under management and 200+ enterprise clients. To lead this next chapter, Asignet welcomes Jason Horak as Chief Revenue Officer, while Jason Konigsberg takes on the role of President of Technology Expense Management.
Since 2016, we have grown from zero US customers to more than 200 clients and two successful acquisitions. That growth is accelerating: driven by expanding demand across existing clients, new markets, and a growing number of enterprise wins across multiple industries. This momentum reflects a broader market shift: companies are increasingly seeking end-to-end control of complex business spend, validating what they are being charged, and gaining complete visibility before money leaves the business.
Our foundation was built in Technology Expense Management. That work pushed us to solve some of the most complex operational and data challenges at enterprise scale — automating fragmented processes, extracting and normalizing data from invoices, contracts and inventory files, and validating charges against contracts and business rules. To enable this, we built three core capabilities: Wayfast, our internal development engine; our parser technology, which turns complex documents into structured, usable data; and our RPA technology, which automates operational processes across portals, systems and workflow.
As we expand, AI and agentic workflows will make this foundation even more powerful. Our approach is practical: deterministic technology creates the trusted data layer, while AI and hyperautomation help people move faster, make better decisions, and scale execution. The same stack is now driving expansion into supplier invoice validation, three-way matching, commission reconciliation, contract compliance, revenue intelligence, provisioning automation, and AI-assisted exception management.
To support this next phase, we are evolving our leadership structure. I am very excited to welcome Jason Horak as our new Chief Revenue Officer, leading company-wide revenue strategy across all three verticals. At the same time, Jason Konigsberg will become President of Technology Expense Management. He has been foundational in building our US business and our leadership position in the category, and in this role he will continue to drive growth, client success, and innovation within this critical vertical.
Our promise across every market remains the same: every line of every invoice validated, every exception visible, and every client in control before payment.
We are proud of what we have built, energized by our momentum, and excited for what comes next.
